This success is a testament to the viability of turn-based RPGs, as seen with other recent hits like Baldur's Gate 3 and Metaphor: ReFantazio. These games demonstrate that turn-based systems can still resonate with modern audiences and achieve both critical acclaim and commercial success.

The success of Clair Obscur is a significant achievement for Sandfall Interactive and Kepler, signaling a potential resurgence of mid-budget RPGs.
