The Bug Out event is making a thrilling return to *Pokémon Go*, set to run from March 26th to 30th. This event promises an exciting lineup of Bug-type Pokémon and introduces the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch. Get ready for a packed schedule filled with wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and fresh challenges that will keep you engaged throughout the event.
Lure Modules are set to play a pivotal role during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but they'll also increase the number of Pokémon appearing at a PokéStop when enough are caught using a single Lure Module, enhancing your chances of encountering more Pokémon.
As part of the event, you'll enjoy double XP and additional Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an increased chance of receiving Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters, rejoice! Your odds of finding Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are significantly boosted during this event.
The wild will be teeming with Bug-types, featuring frequent appearances of Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep an eye out, as you might even encounter the elusive Cutiefly.

In one-star raids, you'll have the chance to battle Sizzlipede alongside Scyther and Nincada. Meanwhile, Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will challenge you in three-star raids. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward you with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event-specific Pokémon.
Don't miss out on the free Timed Research opportunity, which includes encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For those seeking extra rewards, a Paid Timed Research option is available for $2 (or the local equivalent), offering encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, plus two Premium Battle Passes and an additional Lure Module.
New Collection Challenges will offer rewards such as Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases will spotlight event-themed Pokémon. Be sure to check out the in-game shop for the new Sizzlipede Boots and a Scolipede Jacket to add to your collection.
