pgd has just opened pre-registration for Blade of God X: Orisols, their upcoming expansion of the Blade of God series. This second instalment will release on Android and iOS and is a dark-themed action RPG featuring a deep dive into Norse mythology and its epic tales of sacrifice and redemption. From the Allfather to Loki, just about everyone is set to appear.
In Blade of God X: Orisols, you take on the role of an Inheritor, a being reborn through cycles, embarking on a journey from Muspelheim across the realms sustained by the World Tree. This vast world spans timelines like Voidom, Primglory, and Trurem, presenting decisions that shape your path as you seek artifacts inspired by Norse gods to influence the fate of the world.
Promising to better everything its predecessor did, Orisols has apparently enhanced the combat system. The dynamic combos and skill chains allow you to analyse enemy patterns and capitalise on moments of vulnerability. Counterattacks and well-timed skill sequences against bosses create opportunities for devastating damage, rewarding strategy as much as reflexes.
The Soul Core system offers some extra customisation. By inserting monster soul cores into your skill chain, you can channel their power during combat, making you a force to be reckoned with. Each core adds distinct features, letting you experiment with various combat styles that suit your play style.

If you're looking to game with your mates, then the RPG also features cooperative play, where you can form Caravans, which are essentially guilds, participate in PvP battles, and team up to take on massive bosses.
