When Is the Beloved Buddies Event Kicking Off in Pokémon GO?
Mark your calendars! The Beloved Buddies event will run from February 11th to February 15th. This is your chance to experience the debut of Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon, and add it to your collection. Get ready to encounter Dhelmise in raids as well.
During the event, you'll enjoy double XP for catching Pokémon, making it a great time to level up. Lure Modules will also last a full hour, attracting a variety of Pokémon such as Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these will reward you with an additional 500 Stardust per catch, so keep your Poké Balls ready!
The wild Pokémon spawns during the Beloved Buddies event are impressive. You'll have a higher chance of encountering Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce. Other Pokémon you can expect to see more frequently include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.
Raids during the event will offer a range of challenges. One-star raids will feature Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp, with Skrelp having an increased shiny rate. Three-star raids will include Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise. For those looking for a bigger challenge, five-star raids will feature Enamorus in its Incarnate Forme, while Mega Raids will bring the formidable Mega Tyranitar.
