While *Avowed*'s Living Lands feel vast, the main quest is surprisingly concise. If you're craving more after the credits roll, here's what awaits:
Does *Avowed* Have New Game Plus?
Many RPG fans relish replaying the main quest on higher difficulties with acquired skills and gear. Unfortunately, Avowed currently lacks a New Game Plus mode at launch. However, Obsidian may add this feature in a future update or DLC based on player feedback.
Even without New Game Plus, replayability exists. Avowed's branching narrative and diverse character builds offer significant replay value. Starting a new game allows exploration of different endings and playstyles.
Does *Avowed* Have Endgame Content?

Avowed features four main regions, a secret final area, and a return to a major city (details withheld to avoid spoilers). Legendary-quality weapons and gear become crucial in these challenging final areas. However, progress doesn't carry over to earlier regions, and no new areas unlock post-game. This means you can't revisit the Living Lands as shaped by your choices.
What You Can Do After Beating *Avowed*
Post-game content is limited due to the absence of New Game Plus and endgame activities. Completion triggers a lengthy cinematic summarizing your choices and their impact. Afterwards, you're returned to the main menu.
From there, you can start a new game or reload a previous save. Autosaves from before the final encounter and the point of no return are accessible. This allows replaying sections with different choices to experience alternate story outcomes.
Reloading to a point before the final area also lets you revisit earlier regions to complete side quests, collect missed items, and mop up achievements. Enemies in these earlier areas won't scale to your level, making this a potentially rewarding experience with your high-level gear.
That's the post-game experience in Avowed.
Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.
