Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap
On May 1, Ubisoft took to Twitter (X) to share their roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, detailing a variety of new story and gameplay enhancements. One of the highlights is the introduction of multiple Story Drops, which are free content updates that enrich the game's narrative. These additions will bring new player abilities, allies, world activities, and delve deeper into the backstories of beloved characters, all of which will expand the main game's universe.
In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This DLC will take players to the new region of Awaji Island, available post-epilogue of the base game. Fans can look forward to encountering new enemies, unlocking new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
