How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After numerous trials, we've cracked the code to unlock **all three Arata stages** in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require **significant Reputation grinding**—and we mean a lot!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you need to amass **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and find **Damiro D. Mado**, the NPC with headphones on the second floor. He'll task you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, shown below, and then crafting them at a crafting table. To check your Reputation, speak with **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you've collected **all 20 fragments**, convert them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. If you're struggling with bosses, our *GHOUL://RE* Boss and Raid guide can help you conquer them swiftly.

Return to **Damiro**, and he'll direct you to speak with "him". This caused confusion in the *GHOUL://RE* community, but "he" is none other than **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, who was hiding in plain sight. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must switch to **permadeath (PD) mode** to acquire the legendary armor. It's advisable to team up with reliable and strong players, as solo missions can be frustrating.
Once you've gathered **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. There, you'll find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage 2 and acquire **Arata-Proto armor**. Despite rumors suggesting you might need only 75,000 or between 90,000 and 100,000 Reputation, our experience confirms that **100,000 Reputation points** are necessary for guaranteed success.
Remember, you must play the second and third Arata stages in **PD mode** to avoid repeated responses from the Black Reaper and ensure you can progress to Arata Stage 3.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final Arata stage also involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, more fragments, and a substantial amount of cash. You must remain in **PD mode** to continue your quest for the epic armor.
Once you've obtained a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and saved up **500,000 Yen**, revisit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to face the **Kishou Arima boss**.

To defeat Kishou Arima, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving a lot of jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage. While challenging, Kishou Arima is not unbeatable, and with practice, even average players can triumph.
Be prepared for potential deaths during this encounter. Stock up on resources, as each retry requires another **one-eyed Kakuja fragment** and an additional **500,000 Yen**. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be cautious; while Arata armor provides significant buffs and protection, it also drains your hunger at an alarming rate.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**
Arata armor is incredibly powerful, but it **drains your hunger** rapidly while worn. You cannot eat while wearing Arata in any stage, so you'll need to remove it to replenish your hunger levels.
The armor's benefits are substantial. Firstly, **you can't be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, which is a significant advantage in all game scenarios. Additionally, Arata enhances your character's durability, making you **increasingly "tanky"** and capable of both sustaining and dealing massive damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during combat, it will start consuming your **health bar**, so be cautious, especially in boss fights, and consider removing it if it becomes too risky.

**Reputation Grinding**
The fastest way to accumulate the required Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. Although risky, each boss defeated in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation**, significantly more than the **500** you earn outside PD. Killing Ghouls only yields **100 Reputation** per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
