Apex Legends Global Series Year Four Championships has been confirmed to take place in Sapporo, Japan, hosting forty teams of elite players to battle it out and crown the next champion of Apex Legends' global competitive esports tournament series. The event takes place at the DAIWA House PREMIST DOME from January twenty-ninth, 2025 to February second, 2025.

This event will be the first ALGS offline tournament held in Asia, having previously been hosted in the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany. "This year will be extra special as we are having our first LAN event in APAC," EA wrote in its announcement.

"ALGS has a very large community in Japan, and we have seen many comments calling for an offline event in Japan," EA senior director of Esports John Nelson said. "That's why we couldn't be more pleased to celebrate this milestone with an offline tournament held at the iconic DAIWA House Premist Dome."
