The highly anticipated Amazon adaptation of the video game "God of War" has already been greenlit for two seasons before its premiere, as announced by the show's new showrunner, Ronald D. Moore. Moore stepped in following the exit of the previous showrunner, Rafe Judkins, along with executive producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus. In a recent chat with Katee Sackhoff, a fellow alum from the iconic series "Battlestar Galactica," Moore shared insights into his latest project.
"Right now, I'm working on an adaptation of, there's a video game called God of War, a big title in the gaming world that Amazon has ordered two seasons of and they've asked me to come in," Moore explained. "So I'm literally in the writer's room, and working on that. That's my new thing."

For the "God of War" series, Moore has taken on multiple roles as writer, executive producer, and showrunner. His extensive experience includes working on acclaimed series such as "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine," as well as leading the charge on the 2000s revival of "Battlestar Galactica."
