Microsoft has revealed that eight games will be leaving its popular Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. Among the titles departing are Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.
Xbox Game Pass is a versatile online gaming service available for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers enjoy the ability to stream games directly on smart devices and consoles, access new titles on their release day, and explore a vast catalog of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following games are being removed from this expansive library:
**Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:** --------------------------------------------Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Chants of Sennaar
Dune: Spice Wars
Hauntii
Jurassic World Evolution 2
Little Kitty, Big City
Planet of Lana
The Big Con
Microsoft is set to unveil Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games are removed from the service.
Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members were treated to a new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles, eliminating the need for downloads. This feature, previously available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, has now been extended to Xbox Series X, S, and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming, as detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post.
In other gaming news, if the recent delay of Grand Theft Auto 6 to May 2026 has you eager to revisit the world of GTA, remember that GTA 5 Enhanced is now accessible on Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC. Notably, this marks the first time the enhanced version of the game has been available on PC Game Pass.
