Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, catering to a diverse range of gaming preferences. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, the new additions promise to enhance the gaming experience for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting May 20.
For those subscribed to the Extra tier, a total of nine new titles will be available, spanning both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The spotlight shines on Sand Land, an action RPG that brings the world of Akira Toriyama's manga to life. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter's Enhanced Edition, announced for PS5 alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, is set to launch on the same day. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Premium members will also enjoy a classic title, Battle Engine Aquila, available on both PS4 and PS5. This sci-fi action game offers players the chance to pilot a versatile war vehicle, engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
