Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, and offers up to four consecutive days of free playtime on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
The campaign commenced on January 9th, 2025, and the four-day timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility is determined by account inactivity (at least 30 days prior to the campaign start) and adherence to the game's terms of service. Players can verify their eligibility through the Mog Station.
This generous offer coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, featuring new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, including the return of the Hildibrand adventures and a new Custom Delivery client. Furthermore, Patch 7.16, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series, is slated for release on January 21st. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message also confirmed the upcoming release of Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, along with smaller content updates, leaving players speculating about the future direction of the Dawntrail storyline.
The ongoing Heavensturn event (until January 16th) offers a minion reward to all participants, providing additional incentive for returning players to enjoy the festivities. This Free Login Campaign provides a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to catch up on the Dawntrail storyline before the arrival of Patch 7.2.
