Uncover the Secrets of Diablo 4's Forgotten Altars and Lost Powers!
The Season of the Maelstrom introduces Witchcraft Powers, categorized as Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay, accessible through The Coven. Gaining favor requires completing Coven missions, earning Restless Rot to upgrade Altars near the Tree of Whispers. While main Altars are readily located, the elusive Forgotten Altars offer unique Lost Powers.
Unlike the fixed locations of standard Altars, Forgotten Altars randomly spawn within Sanctuary's dungeons. This requires exploration, but the powerful Lost Powers make the search worthwhile. The seasonal questline frequently sends players into dungeons, potentially minimizing extra grinding.
