MotorSim 2: Your Land Vehicle Performance Calculator
MotorSim 2 is a powerful performance calculator for land vehicles. It's a physics simulator, not a driving game, focusing solely on straight-line acceleration performance.
This app lets you meticulously define vehicle specifications and instantly calculates the resulting performance metrics. Features include an interactive simulator displaying speedometer, tachometer, throttle, brake, and gear shifting (manual or automatic), complete with a procedurally generated engine sound (not sample-based) and a visual representation of the vehicle's progress along a 1/4 mile track. Saved simulations ("ghosts") allow for easy performance comparisons between different configurations.
