Quickfire Rules:
The game begins with cards evenly distributed among four players. Each player bids either high (black card) or low (red card). The bidding cards are revealed starting from the player left of the dealer. The first black card turned over signifies a 'high' round, where teams aim to win as many tricks as possible. If all cards are red, the round is 'low', and teams try to win as few tricks as possible.
In a high bid round, the player to the right of the one who 'granded' leads the first trick. In a low bid round, the player to the left of the dealer starts. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they can play any card. The highest card in the led suit wins the trick, and the winner leads the next trick.
Scoring:
At the end of each round, points are awarded based on the tricks collected. In high bid rounds, the granding team earns a point for each trick over six. If they fail to reach seven tricks, the opposing team scores one or two points per trick over six, depending on the 'set bonus' setting. In low bid rounds, teams score one point for each trick under seven.
