Mindi, also known as MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, Mindi Multiplayer, and Dehla Pakad (which translates to "Collect the tens"), is a thrilling, team-based trick-taking card game that combines fun and strategy. Designed for four players split into two teams sitting opposite each other, Mindi uses a standard 52-card deck. The game kicks off with the player who draws the highest card becoming the first dealer. This dealer shuffles and deals 13 cards to each player. Mindi offers two exciting modes to choose from for endless fun:
- Hide Mode: The player to the right of the dealer selects a card and places it face down on the table, which then becomes the trump suit for that round.
- Cut Mode: If no trump suit is chosen, the game starts without one. The first player unable to follow suit sets the trump for the deal.
Once a trump suit is established, the highest card of that suit played in a trick wins the trick. If no trump cards are played, the highest card of the led suit takes the trick. The winner of each trick leads the next one, and all captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile by the winner.
Victory in a hand is achieved if one partnership captures three or four of the tens. Capturing all four tens is known as a Mendicot, a prestigious achievement in the game.
