Story
Your adventure begins in a lush forest near the Rider's village, where you, along with your friends Lilia and Cheval, discover a radiant egg. In a playful mimicry of the Rite of Kinship, you're astonished when the ritual actually works, and the egg hatches into a baby Rathalos—dubbed "the King of the Skies." Naming him Ratha, you bring this new companion back to the village.
Tragedy strikes when a monster, corrupted by the "Black Blight," attacks your village. Though you manage to repel the beast, it leaves behind a trail of destruction and emotional wounds, especially for Cheval and Lilia.
A year on, you receive a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, officially becoming a Rider. As Cheval and Lilia pursue their individual journeys, you team up with the ever-optimistic Navirou and set forth on a new adventure into the vast world of hunters. A tale of friendship and victory awaits you—saddle up and ride into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!
