Game Story
In a distant future where Earth lies in ruins, civilization survives aboard floating islands in the sky. Though gifted with divine technology called "floating island ships" and "machine soldiers," humanity now wars over the solar energy required to power them. With casualties mounting, dragons emerged to replace fallen machine soldiers - yet still the conflict rages.
The gods proposed a solution: "Equip your ships with the Warrior of the Ring to establish hierarchy in these skies. Those who prove worthy through combat shall receive divine wisdom." Thus began the Ukishima Battle, held every five years as the focal point of this aerial world's existence.
