Welcome to City Football Manager (CFM), where you take the reins of your city's football team and strive for the ultimate goal: becoming champions! Our multiplayer football management game is constantly evolving, with new features, improvements, and designs added each month.
Gameplay Overview
In CFM, you compete against other managers, real players just like you, or bots managing teams without human managers. Matches are simulated automatically on our servers according to a schedule, powered by an advanced game engine that considers your team's strategy and the individual qualities of your players—over 40 unique attributes!
Global Reach and Competitions
Currently, CFM includes teams from 32 countries, including powerhouses like England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the USA, as well as exciting football nations like Brazil, Argentina, and Nigeria. Each country's championship is structured into four divisions. At the end of each season, promotions and relegations occur: the top three teams from Divisions 2, 3, and 4 move up, while the bottom three from Divisions 1, 2, and 3 move down.
Additionally, every country hosts a national cup tournament, where all teams compete in a knockout format. The best teams from each country also qualify for two prestigious international tournaments:
- Cup of Cups: For the finalists of the national cups.
- Cup of Champions: The most coveted trophy, reserved for the top two teams from the highest division in each country.
Team Management
As a manager, you start with 19 players, with 11 selected to play by default. You have the flexibility to adjust their positions and choose different players for each match. Success on the field translates to more fans and higher ticket sales, allowing you to upgrade your stadium and increase your team's revenue.
In the "Transfers" section, you can buy and sell players, coaches, scouts, and physios. If you're focused on nurturing young talent, you can build and upgrade an academy that generates two promising young players at the end of each season.
Training and Player Development
The fitness, training grounds, and theory center are crucial for effective player workouts, while the physio center aids in faster recovery. In the training section, you can assign players to specific training sessions, with higher-level coaches accelerating skill development. Be mindful of your players' condition to avoid over-training, which can lead to exhaustion, injuries, and poor performance.
