Introducing the Ultimate Score Sheet Scanner for Digitizing Chess Games
Effortlessly Scan and Digitize Your Chess Games
With our cutting-edge score sheet scanner, you can easily transform your handwritten chess games into digital format. Our technology extracts text from your score sheets, converting it into a playable game. You'll see an overview that displays the score sheet alongside the generated moves. If the scanner misreads any moves, you can quickly correct them with our intuitive move suggestion feature.
Once your game is digitized, you have several options at your fingertips. You can categorize it into a tournament, analyze it using popular platforms like Lichess or Chess.com, or export it as a PGN file for further study or sharing.
Seamless Score Sheet Scanning
Capture your score sheets using our built-in scanner or select images from your gallery. The scanner efficiently extracts the game details from the image, supporting up to two score sheets per player. This feature is especially useful for tournament directors, as it can handle both White and Black player score sheets, ensuring a comprehensive game generation process.
Generate Your Game with Ease
After scanning, you can immediately generate the game or choose to manually overlay the move grid for added precision. Our system supports a variety of chess notations, including:
- English: N/B/R/Q/K
- German: S/L/T/D/K
- Dutch: P/L/T/D/K
- Spanish / Italian: C/A/T/D/R
- French: C/F/T/D/R
- Portuguese: C/B/T/D/R
- Czech / Slovak: J/S/V/D/K
While other notations are also supported, their recognition may be less accurate as they are processed based on our existing models.
Efficient Game Generation
To generate your game, the score sheets are sent to our servers. The generation time can vary based on factors like the legibility of the score sheet, the game's length, and your internet connection, typically taking between 1 and 10 seconds.
Review and Refine Your Generated Game
Our overview feature shows the score sheet columns with the generated moves, using background colors to indicate the confidence level of each move. Tap on any move to jump directly to the corresponding chess position, where you can also view alternative move suggestions.
If the scanner misinterprets any moves, our move suggestion system makes corrections easy. Suggestions are ranked by probability, and you can further refine them by filtering for the specific piece to be moved. After making adjustments, you can regenerate the game from the current move.
Handling Omitted or Crossed-Out Moves
Missed or crossed-out moves on your score sheet? No worries! Our game overview allows you to skip or insert moves as needed, and then regenerate the game with your modifications.
Enhance Your Game Data
Add player and tournament details to your game, along with additional context through a description field, making your digital records more comprehensive and searchable.
Comprehensive Game Overview and Filtering
An overall view of all your digitized games is available, with options to filter by tournament, round, and favorites. You can also use the search function to find games by player names or descriptions.
Exporting and Importing Games
Export your filtered or individual games as PGN files, customizable in the settings to include details like tournament, round, and date. You can also import additional games into the app using PGN files.
