This app offers three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable via the in-app settings.
Four Cards Golf Rules:
The objective is to achieve the lowest score possible across nine rounds. Each round begins with each player receiving four face-down cards. Remaining cards form a draw pile, with one card placed face-up in a discard pile.
Players initially peek at only their two closest cards, keeping them secret. They can't re-examine their cards until discarding or scoring.
On a turn, a player draws from the draw pile, replacing any card in their layout (without seeing the replaced card). The replaced card goes face-up into the discard pile. Players may also draw and immediately discard from the draw pile without a replacement. Alternatively, they can draw from the discard pile, must replace a card, and then discard the drawn card.
A player can "knock," ending their turn and the round. Other players can continue drawing and discarding but can't knock.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a row or column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 10 points
- Other cards: face value
- Four of a kind: -6 points
Six Cards Golf Rules:
Similar to Four Cards Golf, the goal is the lowest score over nine rounds. Each player starts with six face-down cards; the remainder forms the draw pile, with one card face-up in the discard pile.
Players initially reveal two cards. They reduce their score by swapping cards for lower-value ones or creating pairs in columns.
Turns involve drawing a card from either pile. The drawn card can replace a card (turning the replaced card face-up) or be discarded. The round ends when all cards are face-up.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 20 points
- Other cards: face value
The game supports both AI opponents and local multiplayer.
