Players assume the role of survivors in this post-apocalyptic world. To safeguard their home and the remaining survivors, they must construct a multi-layered base defense. Strategic placement of defense towers is crucial for fortifying their base and protecting their loved ones.
Each level begins with an 8x8 grid representing the play area and the monsters' predetermined path to the target. Players must utilize puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to create a path that funnels monsters through their defensive towers for destruction. The ultimate objective is to successfully defend the home from the relentless monster attacks.
The home's location is fixed for each level. Players have the freedom to position the puzzle pieces anywhere on the grid, provided at least one space remains open in each row.
Each level presents 6 waves of increasingly challenging monsters. At the start of a level, players choose one of two tower cards. Once selected, the tower card appears alongside the puzzle pieces, ready for placement on the grid before the wave begins. After each wave, players can select additional cards—two tower card types and a stat card. The stat card enhances all defensive towers, while tower cards are added to the tower area.
