ArtClash: Paint, Draw, and Compete! (Early Access)
ArtClash isn't Sketchbook, Photoshop, Procreate, or Infinite Painter. It's a unique social drawing app designed to foster daily practice and friendly competition. Currently in early access, ArtClash offers a fun way to improve your sketching, painting, and cartooning skills.
Core Features:
- Creative Freedom: Free draw, or participate in themed challenges with customizable constraints (time limits, color palettes, canvas size). Earn points for correct guesses from other players!
- Image Import: Use reference images or paint directly over imported artwork.
- Skill Progression: Six difficulty levels cater to all skill sets, from single-word prompts to more complex five-word scenarios.
- Social Sharing: Easily share your creations with the ArtClash community.
- NSFW Filtering: Control your viewing experience with an NSFW filter.
Early Access Notes:
The current version has some limitations:
- UI Refinements: The user interface is undergoing a significant overhaul for improved responsiveness and aesthetics.
- Performance Optimization: Large canvases may impact performance on lower-end devices. We're actively working on optimizing the brush engine.
Future Enhancements:
We have ambitious plans for ArtClash's future, including:
- Expanded Game Modes: New games like "telephone" (using drawings) are on the horizon.
- Enhanced Social Features: Expect profile customization, commenting, friend lists, and following options.
- Improved Tools: A marquee selection tool, transform tool, and a wider range of brushes are in development. Custom brush support is already present.
- Advanced Layer System: Future updates will include layer locking, masking, and other advanced layer functionalities.
- Community Feedback: A dedicated system for feature requests, bug reports, and community voting is planned.
- Moderation System: Community moderators will help maintain a positive and safe environment.
