Alias Football is more than just a game—it's the ultimate post-match entertainment, blending the thrill of football with the excitement of fast-paced wordplay. Think of it as the most engaging game to play after a thrilling football match with friends. In Alias Football, two or more teams go head-to-head in a race to guess as many football-related "names" as possible—ranging from famous players and legendary clubs to well-known managers—all within a set time limit.
Each team consists of at least two players. One player takes on the role of the describer, drawing clues from facts, anecdotes, or notable moments related to a football name displayed on a card. The rest of the team must guess the correct name before the timer runs out. Each successful guess earns the team one point. The first team to reach the pre-set winning score takes the crown!
Game Options
Modes
Before the kickoff, players can choose between two exciting modes:
- Classic Mode: Each card features 5 football names. To move to the next card, all names must be correctly guessed.
- Arcade Mode: Each card displays a single football name. You can either guess it or skip it—but skipping costs you one point.
Score and Time
Customize your gameplay by setting the target score and the round time (in seconds) in the game settings. The target score determines how many points your team needs to win, while the time defines how long each round lasts.
Packs
Choose from various themed packs that contain curated lists of player names, managers, and clubs. The default pack includes widely recognized football legends. Some packs allow you to filter by player names only or include managers and clubs too. Difficulty levels like “Easy” and “Hard” ensure there’s something for everyone—from casual fans to die-hard football experts.
Teams
You can start with the default option of 2 teams or add more if you're playing with a larger group. There’s also an option to customize your team's name, making the experience even more personal and competitive.
Kick-off
Once you hit the “Kick off” button, the action begins! During each round, you’ll see your current score and remaining time. After every round, the overall game score is updated so you can track who’s leading the match.
